Why our family started the Knight Rangers.
Founded in 2023 by Neville “Whispering Dragon” Gupta and his son Tristan “Runaway Cheetah.” Today, younger brother Julien “Thunder Lion” joins them in carrying the adventure forward.

We started the Knight Rangers to make room for dedicated father-and-son time: a reason to step outside our routines, explore California, and build friendships through experiences we’ll remember long after the kids have grown.

We’d love to help you find your way in.
Who is it for? Where do families live?
Dads and sons in kindergarten through 6th grade, from Newport Beach to San Clemente. Many of our families live around St. Anne’s School, St. Edward’s, Marbella Country Club, and surrounding neighborhoods. Dads take part alongside their sons.
Can we try an event before joining?
Yes. The Adventure Pass lets you experience one event before signing up for the season. Families can join anytime. Confirm current event costs and what’s included with the program.
How much of a commitment is it?
There’s no sports-style season schedule to keep up with. Come for one event or as many as you’d like, and sign up anytime. Choose the outings that work for your family.

What’s the story behind Adventure Guides?
The YMCA’s father-and-son program began in 1926 as Indian Guides. Knight Rangers formed in 2023. Caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility remain at the heart of our adventures.
